DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy hockey lineup- January 11
High Salary C
Joe Pavelski-San Jose Sharks ($7,700): Pavelski is still the best source of offensive among forwards for the Sharks. He registered a goal and an assist on Saturday and has four points in his last four games. Pavelski has an average of 4.4 fantasy points a game and has been a very strong producer for his owners. He gets a great matchup with Calgary tonight and is a must-start.
Patrice Bergeron-Boston Bruins ($7,400): Bergeron continues to be Boston’s main source of offense. He has 38 points in 40 games this season and just picked up an assist on Saturday. He has five points over his last five games and has an average of 4.4 fantasy points a game. He will go up against the Rangers tonight, a team ranked 16th against opposing centers. Bergeron will be needed in the important game in New York and makes a great fantasy option.
High Value C
Dylan Larkin-Detroit Red Wings ($5,700): Larkin is one of the frontrunners for the Calder Trophy, given to the best rookie. He’s having fantastic season with 29 points through 41 games and currently has a five-game point streak. His salary is getting close to no longer being in the value range, but regardless of the cost, he makes a great fantasy option. He gets a tough matchup with Los Angeles tonight but is still worth a start with an average of 3.3 fantasy points a game.
Oscar Lindberg-New York Rangers ($3,600): New York’s rookie center is having a solid season with 19 points so far. He is on a two-game point streak and netted a goal on Saturday versus the Capitals. He’s still a fantasy sleeper pick and with Ottawa ranking 30th against opposing centers, is an excellent choice for a lineup tonight.
Ryan Spooner-Boston Bruins ($4,600): Spooner was kept off the scoresheet Saturday but had a four-game point streak prior to that. He is on pace to smash his career high in points with 28 so far through 40 games and is averaging 2.7 fantasy points a game. With six points in five games and a decent matchup, Spooner is a solid selection tonight.
