High Salary W

Rick Nash-New York Rangers ($7,100): The veteran winger is the most expensive one on the board this evening. He isn’t producing at the same rate that he used to but still has 29 points on the year. He has five points in his last five games, including a three-assist game against Dallas on January 5. Boston is ranked third against left wingers, but Nash should still be a target for your lineup.

Johnny Gaudreau-Calgary Flames ($6,800): There are not many high salary options at center tonight but Gaudreau is worth a look. He’s been in a slump lately, going four games without a point, but found the back of the net on Thursday. Prior to his cold stretch he had six points in three games, showing that he’s capable of putting points up in bunches. Gaudreau has an average of four fantasy points a game and gets a decent match against San Jose tonight.

High Value W

Marian Gaborik-LA Kings ($4,700): Gaborik isn’t the fantasy stud of a few years back but can be useful in the right circumstance. On a night in which there are not many options it will be important to find someone who will be under the radar yet still produce. Gaborik could be that guy tonight. He’s got four points over his last five games and draws a middle of the road matchup with Detroit. The bottom line is that Gaborik is a veteran who knows how to score. Get him into your lineup tonight.

Kevin Hayes-New York Rangers ($3,500): Another player you will have to take a chance on is New York’s Kevin Hayes. He has not been a reliable source of fantasy points this season but does have an average of 2.2 fantasy points a game and carries a very attractive price tag. He had a huge game on Saturday with a goal and an assist and will look to get hot against the Bruins.

Tomas Hertl-San Jose Sharks ($4,400): Hertl is coming off a huge game on Saturday where he scored two goals and picked up an assist against Toronto. He has a total of 18 points this season and has been playing well lately with five points in the last five games. Add in a very favorable matchup with Calgary, a team ranked 23rd against opposing left winger, and Hertl makes quality value target.
