FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-January 11
High Value PG
Tony Parker-San Antonio Spurs (5,800): Parker returned after a three-game absence with 33 fantasy points against the Knicks on 16 points, eight assists, and five rebounds. He has at least 27 fantasy points in four of his last five games, and as long as the Spurs don’t decide to rest their starters tonight against the Nets in Brooklyn, he’ll be a strong play from under 6K. ∗∗∗∗ (but check back before tip-off to make sure he doesn’t get “Popped”)
Donald Sloan-Brooklyn Nets (3,800): While Shane Larkin got all the buzz following Jarrett Jack’s injury, Larkin has struggled mightily since taking over at the point. In his last game, Donald Sloan showed he could be part of the solution finishing with a strong 15 points and ten assists for a total of 29.4 fantasy points. Sloan is obviously still risky, but he could get more playing time with a new regime taking over, and he looks like the more natural PG of the available options for the Nets. He’s high-risk, but I love his upside at this price and he’s a nice counter-balance for Curry’s salary if you invest in the MVP. ∗∗∗
