Get off Bryce Harper’s lawn with those rumors of a fourth Mighty Ducks movie

Washington Nationals outfielder Bryce Harper is coming off an MVP season in 2015 after having one of the best seasons that a hitter has ever had. He also has been known to have a controversial opinion from time to time. In a recent Rolling Stones interview, he discussed a very controversial topic: whether or not there should be a Mighty Ducks remake.

“No,” said Bryce Harper, via Rolling Stone, “because it wouldn’t be that good! They should just leave it as is – respect the original Mighty Ducks movie trilogy.”

Harper makes a really good point. The first Mighty Ducks movie has to be one of the top five best sports movies ever. D2 was not as good as the first one. Let’s be honest, the Bash Brothers carried that movie for the most part. The third Mighty Ducks movie was forgettable and embarrassing to the trilogy. The fourth one would likely be Snakes On A Plane bad if that trend continues.

No one owns a VCR anymore, but still, go out there and see there first two Mighty Ducks movies. Don’t bother with the third one, all that’s worth watching is Dean Portman going nuts in the penalty box.
