Winner: Stan Kroenke

Stan Kroenke finally got what he wanted with the Rams returning to Los Angeles. He made it clear from the beginning that he did not want to be in St. Louis and he did everything that he could to get his Rams back to Los Angeles.

When it looked like he would be out of luck and that his stadium plan wouldn’t be the one chosen by owners, he made a plea to them not to cross him and eventually the Oakland Raiders bowed out of the deal, which left the door wide open for the Rams to return to Los Angeles.

By getting his way, Kroenke showed just how powerful he really is as an owner. He should be seen as a powerful owner — because he is one. He has billions of dollars and has many ventures where he wields a great deal of power.

He isn’t someone that the rest of the owners in the league want to make angry. He came prepared with his proposed Inglewood plan and now he will help oversee the construction of the brand new stadium in Los Angeles.

At the end of the day, Kroenke got what he wanted. He’s the biggest winner in all of this.
