Winner: Los Angeles

The Los Angeles market gets an NFL team back. It will be interesting to see if the Rams have the financial success in Los Angeles right away that the league wants, but it can’t be denied that getting back into town is great for the city of Los Angeles.

They haven’t had a team since the ’90s and the thought of there not being a team in one of the biggest markets in the world always seemed crazy. There has been a loyal following of the Rams since they moved out of the city and the fans that have been waiting for their team to return, now get them back.

They also are a getting a team that has plenty of talent on it and perhaps is on the cusp of taking that next big step and becoming a playoff team. While the Rams themselves have work to do on making that happen, the fans will be happy they’re back for the first few seasons that they are there.

The new stadium won’t be opening until 2019, but it will be a big nostalgia trip for the first few years as they play in the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. It’s always great to see a team come back home and the city of Los Angeles certainly deserves to get their team back.
