High Salary SG

Klay Thompson-Golden State Warriors (8,200): Don’t look for Klay Thompson to be part of the Golden State rest play since interim coach Luke Walton said the shooting guard “doesn’t get tired.” Unfortunately for his fantasy owners, he didn’t do much last night even in Draymond Green’s absence finishing with just 17 points, four boards, and three assists for 26.5 fantasy points. He has under 33 fantasy points in three straight games, but I think he’ll turn it around tonight against the Lakers.  When the Warriors faced LA just over a week ago, Thompson had 36 points and 44.5 fantasy points in just 34 minutes.  Since they’ll be home tonight and looking to shake off last night’s narrow loss, look for Klay and Steph to both get good fantasy production tonight.  There’s also always the possibility of a breakout night with Thompson which makes gives him nice upside as a 8,200 investment.

Lou Williams-Los Angeles Lakers (6,500): Williams has been on fire for LA lately and should get plenty of run and scoring chances especially if Kobe sits out tonight’s game against the Warriors.  Williams has as least 38 fantasy points in three straight tames and five of his last seven.  He went off for 44 points against the Thunder last Friday and followed that up with two really nicely balanced lines against the Jazz and Pelicans.  He did have a bad game against Golden State last week, but I think he’ll be ready to go tonight as he continues to one of the Lakers best producers on offense. ∗∗
