High Salary C

Nicklas Backstrom-Washington Capitals ($6,600): Backstrom is absolutely on fire with a six-game point streak. He’s got 10 points over his last eight games and has been a big reason for Washington’s dominance this season. He skates on a very talented top line at both even-strength and on the power play. Vancouver ranks 20th versus opposing centers, making Backstrom one of the top targets at center tonight.

Joe Pavelski-San Jose Sharks ($7,700): Pavelski just keeps doing what he does best. He’s been the top producer for San Jose and has put up 42 points through 41 games. Pavelski is currently on a three-game point streak and had a goal and an assist in his last game on Tuesday night. A favorable matchup with Edmonton awaits the talented center tonight. His price is high, but it’s hard to argue picking against San Jose’s top center.

John Tavares-New York Islanders ($7,800): Tavares was cold for three games but notched an assist on Tuesday night and is up to 15 goals and 15 assists for the season. Despite the recent cold stretch, he is one of the top fantasy centers that is available. He’s got five points in the last seven games and makes for a good play tonight in a decent matchup with the Rangers.

High Value C

Henrik Sedin-Vancouver Canucks ($5,000): Sedin keeps rolling along this season up in Vancouver. The veteran center has 36 points this season and is coming off a two-assist game against Florida on Monday. He has three points in his last four games and will be heavily relied on to provide offense tonight against a tough Washington team.

Leon Draisaitl-Edmonton Oilers ($5,000): Draisaitl has cooled down a bit but he’s got 34 points on the season and just picked up a goal and an assist on Tuesday night. The youngster has been slumping since mid-December but could be heating back up. Tonight’s matchup with San Jose is favorable, as the Sharks are ranked 25th against opposing centers. Draisaitl is a fine choice for your lineup tonight.

Dylan Larkin-Detroit Red Wings ($5,600): Larkin is definitely in the running for this year’s Calder Trophy thanks of a stellar rookie season. He’s registered 14 goals and 15 assists through 42 games and is coming off of a five-game point streak. He was kept off the scoresheet Monday night but will have a good chance at points tonight against an Arizona team that’s ranked 24th against opposing centers. He’s averaging 3.2 fantasy points a game and is a solid value target at center.
