The CW has released a new trailer in advance of Arrow’s midseason return, which again teases the shocking cemetery scene that we have been building toward for months.

At the end of the Season 4 premiere episode we flash-forward six months to a cemetery outside of Star City, where we find a distraught Oliver Queen standing over a fresh grave. The scene is intentionally set with our hero standing alone, in part to symbolize how this tragedy has alienated him from those around him while he grieves from this devastating loss. More importantly, the absence of those closest to Oliver expands the list of possibilities for which character ends the season six feet under.

The show’s executive producers revealed to ETOnline.com back in October that the scene is not meant to fool fans, confirming that the character that meets their untimely end “will stay dead.” This raises the stakes for the show more than ever, with a resolution that promises to resonate with fans and send reverberations throughout the Arrow universe.

Ever since this jaw-dropping season opener, theories have raged across the internet from fans grasping to determine which of the beloved members of Team Arrow will fail to make it through this season. The leap forward in the timeline when this scene was first revealed left options wide open, but we have been able to gather clues as the season has unfolded that may help us solve this mystery.

At this point the only character we can rule out is Barry Allen. For one thing, The Flash has his own thriving show on the CW network that is expected to continue beyond this season. More definitively, we see Barry show up at the tail end of the scene to apologize to Oliver for missing the funeral. Fear not, Flash fans, the Scarlet Speedster lives on.

As for the rest of the cast, one of them won’t be so lucky. Which begs the question, who’s in the grave?
