DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-January 15
High Value SF
Al-Farouq Aminu-Portland Trail Blazers (5,100): Aminu fits in nicely for Portland alongside C.J. McCollum and Damian Lillard. He has at least 30 fantasy points in each of his last two games and in three of his last five. Aminu produced a great, balanced line on Wednesday against Utah with ten points, seven rebounds, four blocks, and two assists for a total of 31.25 fantasy points. He should be able to get things going against the Nets in a game that I think Portland will dominate even though they’re on the road across the country. ∗∗∗
Mirza Teletovic-Phoenix Suns (4,800): Teletovic has taken up a huge chunk of the scoring load in Phoenix after the injury to Eric Bledsoe. He has at least 13 points in six straight games and has reached 25 fantasy points in three of his last four contests. He is still coming off the bench for Phoenix and their rotation is a mess, but he is one of the few Suns’ options who can be counted on for reliable scoring especially when his long-range shot is dropping. ∗∗
Jared Dudley-Washington Wizards (4,600): Dudley has a much higher ceiling than Aminu and Luol Deng, and he could end up with a very heavy workload since Otto Porter has been ruled out tonight against the Pacers. Dudley has at least 25 fantasy points in three of his last five games and posted 28 fantasy points in his most recent contest on Wednesday with 13 points, six rebounds, and three steals. With Marcin Gortat out, the front court thinned, and now Porter’s injury, Dudley should end up with plenty of opportunities at both SF and PF tonight against the Pacers who like to play small ball. ∗∗∗∗∗
Luol Deng-Miami Heat (4,400): He’s not flashy, but Deng typically produces solid fantasy lines. He has at least 22 fantasy points in three of his last four games including a solid 31-fantasy-point double-double on Monday against the Warriors. He followed that up with seven points and seven rebounds against the Clippers, and he should be able to crash the boards and produce solid multi-category numbers once again tonight in Denver. He doesn’t have an ultra-high ceiling, but he also doesn’t carry a ton of risk as he continues to start and play 30+ minutes for Miami. ∗∗
