High Salary C

Steven Stamkos-Tampa Bay Lightning ($7,600): Stamkos found the back of the net twice on Tuesday against Colorado. He now has four goals in the last four games and five points over the last five games. Stamkos averages 3.7 fantasy points a game and makes for a decent fantasy start when he’s playing. The Penguins have been tough on centers this year, but Stamkos has always been a streaky player and his two-goal game could get him jumpstarted for tonight.

Sidney Crosby-Pittsburgh Penguins ($7,100): Crosby had a big night on Tuesday with two assists in Carolina. He broke a two-game scoreless streak that was preceded by a four-game point streak. Crosby has struggled this year but seems to be getting back to his familiar form. No matter how slow the production has been, it’s still Sidney Crosby and he’s still worth a fantasy start on most nights.

High Value C

Jonathan Toews-Chicago Blackhawks ($6,200): Toews has a price over $6,000 but it’s still lower than some of the other top options. No matter how you categorize his salary, he is one of the best option available at center tonight. He’s got a four-game point streak and has 12 points over his last 10 games. Toews is on fire and is an absolute must-own tonight.

Ryan Kesler-Anaheim Ducks ($4,500): Kesler picked up an assist on Wednesday and now has points in two of the last three games. He’s got five points over his last six games and could be starting to heat up a bit. It’s been a slow season for Kesler thus far with just eight goals and nine assists. However, he’s playing well now and makes for a good start thanks to a usual low ownership number and a decent price tag.

Elias Lindholm-Carolina Hurricanes (4,000): Lindholm is on fire right now with points in three of his last four games. He was kept off the scoresheet last night but registered three assists in Tuesday’s game. With six points in four games and a low price, Lindholm is a value center to target.
