High Value PG

George Hill-Indiana Pacers (5,900): In the first meeting of the season between Indiana and Washington, the two teams combined for a huge 229 points.  Hill finished that contest with 14 points, five assists, four rebounds, and a steal which is similar to the lines he has been posting lately.  He has at least 23 fantasy points in seven of his last eight games and is a steady if not spectacular contributor for the Pacers.  He usually scores 13-20 points and chips in 3-5 assists and rebounds which makes him a decent option to consider tonight in the midrange.

Dennis Schroder-Atlanta Hawks (4,900): Schroder is out of the dog house in Atlanta and has been playing well since being left out of the rotation entirely for the last game of 2015 and the first game of 2016.  Schroder has at least 19 fantasy points in each of his four games since then including two games with over 27 fantasy points. He has at least six assists and four rebounds in each of those contests, and when he scores in double-digits he is a very viable fantasy option. With Jeff Teague struggling a little and dealing with an ankle injury, Schroder could be set up for more minutes if he continues to produce such nice numbers.  Right now, his limited playing time does cap his upside, though.

Ramon Sessions-Washington Wizards (4,400): Sessions continued to produce solid numbers even with Brad Beal’s limited return  on Wednesday.  Sessions had 15 points and five assists giving him 22.7 fantasy points.  He has at least 22 fantasy points in six of his last nine games, and he’s a solid cheap option in what should be high-scoring, run-and-gun game in Indy.

Tyler Johnson-Miami Heat (4,200): Johnson didn’t step into the starting lineup for the injured Goran Dragic as the Heat left him in his bench role and inserted Beno Udrih.  Udrih really struggled though, so I expect Johnson to ultimately pick up much of Dragic’s usage.  On Wednesday, Johnson ended up playing 29 minutes and finishing with 20.8 fantasy points with eight points, four rebounds, four assists, two steals, and a blocked shot.  Tonight, he’ll be matched up against the Nuggets in Denver who allow the seventh-most fantasy points to opposing PG making him a solid option with plenty of upside at his very affordable price.

Norris Cole-New Orleans Pelicans(4,200): Cole burnt me badly last time I was high on him, but with Tyreke Evans dealing with knee issues again, Cole deserves a look since he’ll pick up a bunch of usage if Tyreke is ruled out.  On Wednesday, Cole had 22.4 fantasy points on 18 points, two boards, and two assists after filling in for the departed Evans with 26 minutes.  He has at least 20 fantasy points in five of his last eight games, but has played a very limited role in the other games during that stretch.  Cole is high-risk if Evans plays, but if Evans is ruled out prior to tonight’s game, Cole will be one of th best sleepers at any position tonight.
