High Value SF

Nikola Mirotic-Chicago Bulls (5,600): Mirotic was horrible last night against the 76ers when I loved him, so since I don’t like him tonight against the Mavericks he will probably put up a monster game.  He’s not in my lineup, but he’s been running so contrary to my picks that probably means he should be in yours.

Al-Farouq Aminu-Portland Trail Blazers (5,300): Aminu fits in nicely for Portland alongside C.J. McCollum and Damian Lillard.  He has at least 29 fantasy points in each of his last two games and in three of his last five.  Aminu produced a great, balanced line on Wednesday against Utah with ten points, seven rebounds, four blocks, and two assists for a total of 30.4 fantasy points. He should be able to get things going against the Nets in a game that I think Portland will dominate even though they’re on the road across the country.

Luol Deng-Miami Heat (4,400): He’s not flashy, but Deng typically produces solid fantasy lines.  He has at least 21 fantasy points in three of his last four games including a solid 27-fantasy-point double-double on Monday against the Warriors.  He followed that up with seven points and seven rebounds against the Clippers, and he should be able to crash the boards and produce solid multi-category numbers once again tonight in Denver.  He doesn’t have an ultra-high ceiling, but he also doesn’t carry a ton of risk as he continues to start and play 30+ minutes for Miami.

Jared Dudley-Washington Wizards (4,300): Dudley has a much higher ceiling than Deng, and he could end up with a very heavy workload if Otto Porter (questionable-groin) is unable to play tonight against the Pacers.  Dudley has at least 25 fantasy points in three of his last five games and posted 26.2 fantasy points in his most recent contest on Wednesday with 13 points, six rebounds, and three steals.  With Marcin Gortat out, the front court thinned, and now Porter’s injury, Dudley should end up with plenty of opportunities at both SF and PF tonight against the Pacers who like to play small ball.
