High Salary D

P.K. Subban-Montreal Canadiens ($6,200): Subban has bounced back after a slow start to the season. He’s been playing some fantastic hockey recently and is in the middle of a four-game point streak after a goal in St. Louis on Saturday. He has nine points in his last 12 games and has seen his fantasy points average rise to 3.3. Chicago is the opponent for Subban tonight and it’s a good matchup considering that the Blackhawks are ranked 20th against opposing defensemen.

Duncan Keith-Chicago Blackhawks ($6,000): Keith has been a steady source of production from the blue line in Chicago for many years. Though not a big goal-scorer, he’s always been great at setting up his teammates. He has an assist in each of the last two games and has 10 points over his last 10 games. Keith gets a ton of ice time and has plenty of opportunities to put up points. He makes a solid selection for your lineup tonight.

High Value D

Jaccob Slavin-Carolina Hurricanes ($3,400): On a day in which several high-priced players are available it is of the utmost importance to find some hidden value. Jaccob Slavin doesn’t usually show up on the fantasy radar but he’s got an assist in each of the last two games and has four points in his last five games. Slavin gets to go up against Pittsburgh today, the 23rd-ranked team against defensemen. The favorable matchup along with the low price means that Slavin is a great target for your lineup.

Jake Muzzin-LA Kings ($4,700): Muzzin picked up another assist on Saturday and now has 18 for the season to go along with five goals. He is in the middle of a six-game point streak and is obviously on fire. He’s an excellent value play tonight with a salary below $5,000 and an average of there fantasy points per game. Muezzin is rolling right now and needs to be in your lineup.
