Michigan State. Connor Cook. 19. player. 16.
Tyrod Taylor was incredibly serviceable during the 2015 NFL season, but he did more damage with his legs than his arm and the Bills might be looking to find a quarterback who could comfortably be the franchise leader for the future.

And with Connor Cook slipping to 19th in the draft, could the Bills pass up the Michigan State quarterback?

The answer is no. While Ryan is overly confident in his abilities to turn around the defense, he knows a quarterback could be the key to taking the Bills to the next level. The Bills have talent in Sammy Watkins and LeSean McCoy. They have a solid tight end in Charles Clay as well.

Cook completes the offensive puzzle, for 2016 anyways. He has the ideal size for an NFL quarterback and is built to handle taking some shots. He also is deceivingly athletic and while he might not ever be Alex Smith running down field to pick up first downs he can move on his feet to get some yards.

He also has the arm strength to continue to take advantage of Watkins as a deep threat. When that isn’t available, he is easily apt to check it down to McCoy or Clay.
. QB
