Ezekiel Elliott. 3. player. 13.
At this point, why not? General manager Tom Telesco has done a terrible job of drafting throughout his three-year tenure with the Chargers, save the mid-round selection of Keenan Allen. Last year, the Chargers once again traded up to take a running back and it worked as well as flying with an engine. San Diego took Melvin Gordon out of the University of Wisconsin and watched him struggle his way to zero touchdowns.

So, in steps Ezekiel Elliott. Elliott is the best running back in the class despite Derrick Henry winning the Heisman Trophy this year. Elliott gives you the combination of toughness, speed and agility, able to create space in tight quarters. The Chargers will want to draw some fans when they move to Los Angeles, the place where the franchise originated in the old American Football League.

San Diego has so many holes, it might as well try to make some waves and hopefully hit the jackpot. Yes, we are aware this would be a horrendous pick in the top three, but these are the Chargers. If there is any franchise that will take a running back in the first round and try to defend the choice, these are our men.
. RB. Ohio State
