DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy hockey lineup- January 19
High Salary G
Corey Crawford-Chicago Blackhawks ($8,300): Crawford, like the Blackhawks, continued to roll on Sunday as he stop 27 of the 29 shots he faced in a win over Montreal. That’s now eight straight wins for Crawford. He is consistently one of the best fantasy hockey goalies available and is pretty much a must-start each night he takes the ice. Tonight is no different, especially considering he’ll face a Nashville team that has had trouble scoring this season. Plus, Crawford made 41 saves against the Predators in a win on January 12. Take him tonight and have no doubt that he will come through.
Henrik Lundqvist-New York Rangers ($7,900): Lundqvist hasn’t been his usual dominant self this season, but he’s still been able to post 20 wins for the Rangers. His 2.50 GAA is higher than one would expect, but he can still be counted on most nights. He made 34 saves in Saturday’s win at Philadelphia and now has two wins in his last three starts. He’ll get the Vancouver Canucks tonight, a team that ranks 26th in the league with an average of 2.3 goals a game.
High Value G
Jonas Hiller-Anaheim Ducks ($6,700): Hiller has been back for two games after being out since December 12 with an injury. He only has credit for one win in the two starts but has been fantastic, stopping a combined 51 of 52 shots. New Jersey presents a favorable matchup for Hiller considering that the Devils are ranked 29th in the league in scoring. If Hiller keeps up his stellar play he won’t be available at a value price for long. Take advantage tonight while you can.
Steve Mason-Philadelphia Flyers ($7,200): Mason has been sharp lately, picking up wins in three of his last four starts. The lone loss game in overtime on Saturday against the Rangers, a game in which he stopped 29 of the 31 shots he faced. Mason has been inconsistent this year but is definitely starting to get hot now. He still has a great price for his production and has racked up at least six fantasy points in three of the last four games. Tonight he’ll draw a Toronto team that really struggles to put pucks in the net.
