High Salary SG

Giannis Antetokounmpo-Milwaukee Bucks (7,800): Although it has been a disappointing season so far overall for the Bucks, “The Alphabet” is starting to turn things around and could be leading a surge that will make teams “Fear the Deer” in the second half of the season.  Antetokounmpo has posted double-digit rebounds in five straight games and has four straight double-doubles resulting in at least 34 fantasy points in each of his last four games including a pair of games with over 52 fantasy points. He also contributes solid defensive numbers and assists, so he’s a stat-stuffing threat every time he takes the floor.  Tonight, he will face the Heat who will likely have Dwyane Wade (probable) playing on two bum shoulders.  Look for the Greek Freak to attack the Heat from the wings and put together another nice game tonight especially after a couple of much-needed days off.

Will Barton-Denver Nuggets (6,700): Barton has 21 points, six boards, and three assists against the Pacers and has rediscovered his scoring groove.  He has scored 21 points in two of his last three games and usually adds solid rebounding and assists coming off the bench for Denver.  He is risky since he has had  a few down games lately, but he is an infusion of offense as the sixth-man in Denver and can be used for your fantasy team tonight against the Thunder.

Monta Ellis-Indiana Pacers (6,300): Ellis scored 25 points and added five assists for a total of 33.9 fantasy points on Sunday against the Nuggets and has at least 29 fantasy points in four of his last five games.  He played the point on Sunday against Denver with George Hill out, but he will likely slide back to SG tonight against Phoenix. Either way, it’s a great matchup for Ellis and he should be ready to attack the beleaguered defensive Suns backcourt.  Even if Hill returns, Ellis’s playing time will still be high for as long as Rodney Stuckey is sidelined.
