DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-January 20
High Value SF
Robert Covington-Philadelphia 76ers (5,800): Covington has at least 23 fantasy points in four straight games since rejoining the Sixers rotation in a larger role. He has the potential to go off any time he is playing 30+ minutes and he gets a good matchup tonight against the Magic. ∗∗
Marcus Morris-Detroit Pistons (5,700): Morris has scored at least 12 points in each of his last there games and in five of his last nine. He has been adding good non-scoring numbers in his last two games as well with 39 fantasy points against the Warriors and 26.5 fantasy points against the Bulls. Tonight, he’ll be in a good matchup against the Rockets who allow the third-most fantasy points to opposing SF, so he’ll be a nice mid-range play as well given the massive minutes he is currently playing in coach Stan Van Gundy’s rotation. ∗∗∗∗
Jared Dudley-Washington Wizards (4,800): Dudley should keep getting plenty of playing time with Otto Porter injured. He has played at least 30 minutes in each of his last six games and has at least 20 fantasy points in five of those contests including three games with at least 25 fantasy points. He is a multi-category threat, and he should find room to operate against the Heat who are dealing with plenty of their own injuries as they visit DC tonight. ∗∗
Shabazz Muhammad-Minnesota Timberwolves (4,400): Muhammad continues to be a solid cheap option as well whenever coach Sam Mitchell works him into the rotation. Last night he had 20.75 fantasy points against the Pelicans on 13 points and five rebounds, and he has at least that many in six of his last ten. He does carry some risk since he comes off the bench, but he should be a solid risk to take again tonight as Minnesota takes on Dallas who he had 16 points and five rebounds against when the teams met ten days ago. ∗∗∗
