*With only three games on the docket tonight the options at goalie are extremely limited. Because of that, there isn’t a distinction between high salary and high value picks. Instead, you’ll find the best overall targets to use tonight.

Brian Elliott-St. Louis Blues ($7,900): Since taking over as for the injured Jake Allen, Elliott has played well with four wins in his last five starts. He’s working on a two-game win streak and will look to stay hot in a road game with Detroit. The Red Wings have surprisingly struggled to score the puck this year, ranking 21st in the league with an average of 2.4 goals per game. Elliott, though carrying a high price tag, makes for a top goalie target this evening.

Semyon Varlamov-Colorado Avalanche ($7,800): Varlamov took two games off after back-to-back losses but rebounded in a big way on Monday versus Winnipeg. The veteran netminder stopped 36 of 37 shots en route to a victory over the Jets. Tonight he’ll get a favorable home game with the Buffalo Sabres. He’s one of the most expensive goalies available tonight but should make for a great target.

Frederik Andersen-Anaheim Ducks ($7,000): Andersen missed Sunday’s start with a back issue, but it’s reportedly minor and he could be back on the ice for tonight’s contest. If he does in fact play, he will be worth a look against a Minnesota team that ranks 18th in goals scored per game. Prior to his injury Andersen looked sharp in back-to-back wins over Ottawa and Dallas.
