High Salary LW

Zach Parise – Minnesota Wild ($8,500): Parise has 16 goals and 11 assists for 27 points to go along with 128 shots on goal in 36 games this season for the Wild. He has five goals and two assists for seven assists with 35 shots on goal over his last ten games. He goes tonight against the Ducks who have quietly been one of the best defensive teams in the NHL since head coach Bruce Boudreau started utilizing the trap. That said, he’s playing very well as of late despite being held pointless in his last three games. He averages 3.6 fantasy hockey points per game.

Alex Steen – St. Louis Blues ($7,100): Steen has 14 goals and 27 assists for 41 points with 131 shots on goal in 49 games this season for the Blues. Entering Monday’s game against the Penguins, he had just five points in his last nine games. He broke out of his goal drought with one against the Penguins and got an assist as well. He goes against the Red Wings tonight. He averages 3.4 fantasy hockey points per game.

High Value LW

Dylan Larkin – Detroit Red Wings ($5,500): Larkin has been excellent this season for the Red Wings with 14 goals and 16 assists for 30 points with 120 shots on goal in 44 games this season. He has six points and 18 shots on goal over his last eight games. He goes against the Blues tonight. He has one goal in one career game against them and has 13 points in 18 games against the Western Conference this season. He averages 3.4 fantasy hockey points per game.

Robby Fabri – St. Louis Blues ($4,400): The rookie forward has 11 goals and 18 points in 43 games this season. He’s been given less than ideal ice time (just over 13 minutes per game). He has points in four of his last six games, including a multipoint effort against the Canadiens. His teammate Patrik Berglund (2.5 fantasy points per game) is more of a sure thing but Fabri could give you some great value tonight if he keeps doing what he has been doing. Fabri averages 1.8 fantasy hockey points per game.
