DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-January 22
High Value SF
Chandler Parsons-Dallas Mavericks (5,600): Parsons has found his shot in the last few games for Dallas and scored a season-high 30 points on Wednesday while adding eight rebounds and two assists for a solid 46 fantasy points. He has at least 28 fantasy points in four of his last eight games, and he’s an especially solid play if he picks up some of Dirk’s offensive workload if Nowitzki is unable to start tonight against OKC who Parsons has fared well against in the past. No Dirk-∗∗∗∗ With Dirk-∗∗
Harrison Barnes-Golden State Warriors (5,100): Barnes missed the first meeting of the Pacers and Warriors, but he’ll be in the lineup tonight. He has been playing pretty close to his full minutes lately and has been able to reach at least 10 fantasy points in four of his last six games. He had 19 points against the Bulls on Wednesday which was his best scoring output since his injury but he only added three rebounds and an assist for a total of 25.25 fantasy points. He has limited upside in his current role and form, but he is the best option at around 5K at SF. ∗∗
Justise Winslow-Miami Heat (4,000): With almost everyone on the Heat injured, Winslow could be in line for a ton of minutes tonight against Toronto. He played 36 minutes agains Washington on Wednesday due to Luol Deng’s early departure and he finished with a solid 25.5 fantasy points on nine points, six rebounds, and six assists. He is too high-risk to play if Deng returns tonight, but if Deng is out Winslow should end up with nice countable stats for an injury-depleted Miami squad. No Deng-∗∗∗ With Deng-∗
Jonathon Simmons-San Antonio Spurs (3,100): Simmons is my favorite of the cheap Spurs options tonight since the Spurs should get him some minutes tonight against the Lakers since the game will likely be over early. Simmons played 25 minutes last night in Phoenix and ended up with 13 points and 17.25 fantasy points. He had even better numbers in just 15 minutes against Dallas when he totaled 23.75 fantasy points. Simmons is a scoring option coming off the bench for San Antonio, and he brings some nice hustle which could pay off against LA if things get out of hand tonight. ∗∗
Kyle Anderson-San Antonio Spurs (3,100): Anderson is another of the Spurs who picks up playing time when the stars get rest which should be the case again tonight as San Antonio finishes a back-to-back against the Lakers. Anderson had 23 fantasy points last night in Phoenix with nine points, four rebounds, and three assists. He should get a chance to play enough to be fantasy relevant again tonight in LA. ∗∗
