DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-January 22
High Value PF
Serge Ibaka-Oklahoma City Thunder (5,900): Ibaka has at least 22 fantasy points in each of his last six games including a very nice 40.25 fantasy points against the Mavericks last Wednesday when the Thunder last faced their opponent for tonight. Ibaka had 20 points, 11 rebounds, and three blocks in that contest although his role in the offense was partly due to Russell Westbrook’s absence after he was ejected. Ibaka should be close to a double-double again tonight with some blocks so he’s a decent option at just under 6K. ∗∗∗∗
Clint Capela-Houston Rockets (5,600): With Dwight Howard already ruled out for tonight’s contest, Capela will start for the Rockets against the Bucks. When he has been able to start at center, Capela is usually good for a double-double and can throw in some blocks and steals to get to around 30 fantasy points. His expanded role tonight makes him a nice, low-risk play. ∗∗∗
Jabari Parker-Milwaukee Bucks (5,100): Parker had a quite game in Miami scoring just nine points and 17 fantasy points in 36 minutes and snapping a string of five games with at least 24 fantasy points. He should be set up to bounce back in a big way tonight against Houston who is the worst team in the NBA at limiting opposing PF. Look for him to bounce back with a solid stat line tonight although he doesn’t usually go off for huge numbers. ∗∗∗
Charlie Villanueva-Dallas Mavericks (3,300): I was one of the owners that got tricked into playing Dwight Powell on Wednesday when Dirk was out only to see veteran Charlie Villanueva play all his minutes. He finished with 14 points, six rebounds, and a solid 26.5 fantasy points. If Dirk is out again tonight, Villanueva is a solid option, but leave him off your roster if Dirk returns. Dirk in-no stars.
