Carmelo Anthony-New York Knicks (8,900): While Kevin Durant is always a good option, I think tonight is a Westbrook game for OKC.  Instead, I’d save my $$ and look at Melo instead.  Late last week, Anthony missed two games with a shoulder injury, but he has returned to play 49 and 42 minutes in his last two games so is clearly feeling just fine now.  He had a huge 49.9-fantasy-point game against the Jazz on Wednesday in his most recent contest finishing with 30 points, nine assists, and seven rebounds.  He has at least 40 fantasy points in five of his last six games not cut short by injury, and he should be ready to roll tonight against the Clippers.

Gordon Hayward-Utah Jazz (8,200): Hayward’s price is on the rise, but that’s as a result of his improving play over the last few weeks and his role as the focal point of the Jazz attack.  Hayward has at least 30 fantasy points in seven straight games and had 57.5 fantasy points in Charlotte followed by 39.1 fantasy points against the Knicks on Wednesday.  He is in a good matchup against the Nets tonight, and he should be able to keep things going.  I liked him better when he was cheaper, but he’s still a solid play.

Jae Crowder-Boston Celtics (6,800): Another one of my favorite plays whose price has risen sharply lately is Jae Crowder of the Celtics who is really having a breakout year for Boston.  Crowder has at least 17 points in five of his last six games and almost always fills in solid peripherals to get to 30 fantasy points. He has at least 32 fantasy points in five of his last eight games, and he had 35.8 fantasy points when the Celtics faced the Bulls two weeks ago on 17 points, four rebounds, four assists, and three steals. Look for him to be around that production level again tonight.
