DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-January 23
High Value PF
Kenneth Faried-Denver Nuggets (5,900): “The Manimal” has always been one of my favorites, but he has struggled this season and dealt with multiple injuries and sometimes uneven playing time. He has picked things up lately, though with four straight games in double figures and two straight double-doubles with at least 35 fantasy points. Tonight against the Pistons, Faried is an option with plenty of upside, but he still isn’t getting 30+ minutes a night, so he is a little risky since he doesn’t have a ton of time to get his numbers in. ∗∗
Julius Randle-Los Angeles Lakers (5,600): Randle has started three straight games for LA in place of the injured Larry Nance and has been a solid DFS option in each of those games. He had 12 points and 14 boards last night against the Spurs and finished with 30.3 fantasy points. He has at least 25 fantasy points in each of his last three games and at least 20 fantasy points in each of his last seven. Randle and the Lakers are in Portland for one of the late games tonight, and Randle averaged 14.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, and 1.5 steals against the Blazers in two meetings earlier this season. If Nance is out again, Randle makes a solid play. No Nance-∗∗∗ With Nance-∗∗
Jabari Parker-Milwaukee Bucks (5,100): Parker went off last night for 11 points, ten rebounds, four assists, two blocks, and two steals as he piled up 38.5fantasy points in a season-high 40 minutes. He has played at least 30 minutes in nine of his last ten games and has at least 22 fantasy points in six of his last seven. Parker is undersized at PF and could have a hard time with Anthony Davis, but he should produce solid enough stats to be a good play at just over 5K again tonight. ∗∗
