High Salary C

Patrice Bergeron-Boston Burins ($7,500): Bergeron is riding a three-game point streak and makes for a great target in a home game with Columbus tonight. The Blue Jackets rank 30th in points allowed to opposing centers, setting Bergeron up for a big game. He’s the best source of offense for the Bruins with 18 goals and 24 assists through 46 games. With his production and the matchup, Bergeron needs to be looked at as one of the best center options available tonight.

Claude Giroux-Philadelphia Flyers ($6,800): Giroux is hot right now with seven points in his last five games. He’s the leader of the Philadelphia offense and has put up 14 points and 23 assists through 45 games. He’ll be relied on in tonight’s matchup with the Islanders and makes for a solid fantasy target for your lineup.

Sidney Crosby-Pittsburgh Penguins ($7,300): It’s official- Sidney Crosby is on fire. After looking like a fantasy bust for much of the year, the superstar center has really come on as of late. He registered a goal and an assist on Thursday night and now has a five-game point streak going with 15 points over his last 11 games. Crosby gets a good matchup with Vancouver today and should be considered a top target at center.

High Value C

Travis Zajac- New Jersey Devils ($3,800): Zajac stuffed the scoresheet on Thursday with three assists and a goal against Ottawa. That outing was encouraging to see, as the veteran center has been struggling recently. He started the season hot but had just one point in nine games prior to Thursday’s offensive explosion. He can’t be expected to repeat that performance, but he gets a good matchup with Winnipeg tonight and has a great chance to help your fantasy lineup.

Vincent Lecavalier-LA Kings ($3,100): It’s been a long time since Lecavalier has been relevant in fantasy hockey. He has only played in 14 games this season and has just a total of five points. However, a recent trade to Los Angeles seems to be a good fit for the veteran center. In seven games with the Kings he has recorded three goals and an assist. Taking a flier on Lecavalier is a definite risk, but with a price tag just over $3,000, it’s worth a try.
