High Salary G

Cory Schneider-New Jersey Devils ($8,200): The Devils haven’t been able to offer their top netminder much in the way of goal support this season, but that has changed recently. New Jersey has won its last three games and Schneider was in net for all of them. He’s got four wins over the last five games and now has a GAA of 2.10. Schneider gets a favorable matchup with a Winnipeg team that enters the contest on a two-game losing streak. The New Jersey goalie should be considered the top high salary option available among all the games today.

Jonathan Quick-LA Kings ($8,500): Quick had a bad night on Thursday when he gave up three goals on 28 shots in a loss to Minnesota. Despite that performance, he’s still an elite fantasy option in net. He has posted a record of 26-11-2 this season with a 2.10 GAA. He has picked up wins in two of his last three starts and will be need to be in top form in a rather tough matchup with Arizona. Don’t be fooled by the recent bad performance or the tough matchup, Quick is still a great goalie option for daily fantasy hockey.

High Value G

Mike Condon-Montreal Canadiens ($7,400): Condon has struggled to find consistency this season since taking over for the injured Carey Price. Still, he can make for a good fantasy goalie in the right situation, as he has shown signs of brilliance at times (think back to his strong showing in the Winter Classic). Tonight classifies as a good matchup, as Montreal will make a trip to Toronto to take on its bitter rival. The Maple Leafs are one of the worst teams in the league when it comes to scoring goals, something that will bode well for Condon. He does have three wins in his last four starts, making him a sneaky play in net tonight .

Antti Niemi-Dallas Stars ($7,100): Niemi picked up a win on Thursday when he looked strong against Edmonton. He stopped 23 of 25 shots and should be rewarded with another start tonight. Keep in mind that he and Kari Lehtonen have been splitting starts this year, but Lehtonen has struggled lately. Should Niemi get the nod tonight he’ll make for a decent fantasy target in a home game with Colorado. The Stars lead the league in goals, providing a ton of support for whoever is between the pipes.
