High Salary C

DeMarcus Cousins-Sacramento Kings (11,100): Cousins price has climbed to a gaudy 11K, but he is producing at such a high level that he could be worth it tonight against the Pacers who don’t have a ton of size available expect for rookie Myles Turner.  Cousins has at least 50 fantasy points in seven of his last nine games with over 60 fantasy points in three of those contests.  He had 24 points and 15 rebounds to go with five assists, three steals, and two blocks in his most recent game against the Hawks and he has at least 19 points and ten rebounds in each of his last nine games.  It’s been a great start to 2016 for Boogie and he should be able to keep things rolling tonight against the Pacers.

Greg Monroe-Milwaukee Bucks (7,700): Monroe had 21 points and nine rebounds against the Rockets last night finishing with 43.3 fantasy points in just 30 minutes.  He has at least 34 fantasy points in six of his last seven games and had his string of eight straight double-doubles snapped by falling just one rebound shy last night.  Tonight, he’s in a great matchup against the Pelicans who allow the second-most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing centers, and as long as he gets his regular playing time I expect Monroe to be a good play again tonight.

Karl-Anthony Towns-Minnesota Timberwolves (7,700): Although he doesn’t benefit from the hype machine like Kristaps Porzingis, Towns probably has the inside track on rookie of the year given his outstanding play in Minnesota.  Towns is coming off a huge game on Wednesday when he had 27 points, 17 rebounds, and six blocks for a Boogie-like 62.9 fantasy points. He has at least 30 fantasy points in four of his last five games and has five double-doubles in his last nine.  Tonight, he’ll take on the Grizzlies who may not have excellent interior defender Marc Gasol who is questionable with a knee injury. If Gasol is out, I’d take Towns over Monroe, but with Gasol the Grizz are among the best in the league against opposing centers which would make me lean towards Monroe. With Gasol- No Gasol-∗∗
