High Value PG

Emmanuel Mudiay-Denver Nuggets (5,100): Mudiay continues to carry the load at PG while Jameer Nelson deals with a wrist injury.  Mudiay has played over 33 minutes in each of his last three games as a result and has been a steady fantasy contributor with at least 23 fantasy points in five of his last six games.  He has scored in double-digit in each of those five contests while chipping in solid assists and rebounds.  He’s my favorite option in the 5K range tonight. Without Nelson-∗ With Nelson-

Norris Cole-New Orleans Pelicans (4,300): Despite reports that Jrue Holiday would be moving into the starting lineup for New Orleans after the Pelicans lost Eric Gordon, it was Norris Cole who got the nod on Thursday against the Pistons.  He contributed a very solid 31.1 fantasy points on 12 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists and can be a multi-category contributor with a ton of upside.  Tonight, the Pelicans take on the Bucks who are on the second night of their back-to-back.  Look for Cole to be a good play once again as long as he gets the start and plays around 30 minutes like he did last game. If starting- If not starting-

Matthew Dellavedova-Cleveland Cavaliers (4,100): One of the interesting spots to watch in the Cavs’ rotation tonight under their new head coach will be at backup PG.  Delly has been getting all the minutes instead of Mo Williams lately, but that could change with a change at the top.  Dellavedova has been playing well, though, and has at least 16 fantasy points in each of his last four games and five of his last six including two games with over 20 fantasy points. He’s a cheap play with upside, but he’s also important to watch tonight just to see how the minutes will be divided going forward.

Archie Goodwin-Phoenix Suns (3,700): While he hasn’t officially been ruled out, it doesn’t look good for Brandon Knight to play tonight for the Suns.  In his place, Archie Goodwin played 39 minutes on Thursday against the Spurs and finished with 20 points, three rebounds, two assists, a block, and a steal for a total of 26.6 fantasy points. He has over 20 fantasy points in each of the last two games he has filled in a starting role, and if he gets that chance tonight he’ll be a good cheap play once again. If starting-∗ If Knight plays-
