FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-January 23
High Value SG
Kent Bazemore-Atlanta Hawks (5,100): The Hawks take on the beat up Suns in Phoenix tonight, and Bazemore is worth a look after a solid start to Atlanta’s West Coast swing with 23 points at Portland on Wednesday followed by 11 points on Thursday in Sacramento. He is a volatile play since some nights he is more aggressive than others, but he has impressive upside in a great matchup tonight. ∗∗
Devin Booker-Phoenix Suns (4,500): On the other side of the Suns-Hawks matchup, 19-year-old Devin Booker is playing massive minutes for Phoenix and is one of their best scoring options with so many injuries mounting. Booker had 24 points and five assists on Thursday against the Spurs while playing over 40 minutes for the second game in a row. He had 31 and 31.7 fantasy points in those two contests, and he’ll try to keep carrying the Suns especially if Brandon Knight isn’t able to return to the backcourt next to Booker for tonight’s game against Atlanta. Without Knight-∗∗∗∗∗ With Knight-∗∗∗
Courtney Lee-Memphis Grizzlies (4,000): Lee has been back from his hip injury for five games and has averaged 11.2 points, 2.6 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 0.8 stars in those five games while playing an average of 32 minutes. He’ll be in a good matchup tonight against the T-Wolves, and he’s a solid option especially if Tony Allen misses another game. Without Allen-∗∗ With Allen-∗
Joseph Young-Indiana Pacers (3,800): Young had his third straight good game last night finishing with 30.6 fantasy points against the Warriors on 16 points and eight assists. He got extra playing time due to Monta Ellis’s foul trouble and George Hill’s absence. With Hill likely returning tonight, Young’s playing time could quickly evaporate, but three straight games of over 24 fantasy points at under 4K makes him an interesting flier even with his playing time in question. Rodney Stuckey is still out, so at the least Young should get some back up minutes until he returns. ∗
