High Salary SF

LeBron James-Cleveland Cavaliers (9,600): Whether LeBron ousted David Blatt or not, he’ll get his first start for new head coach Tyronn Lue tonight against the Bulls.  James had 46 fantasy points in a strong game on Thursday with 22 points and 12 assists against the Clippers after failing to reach 40 fantasy points in his previous four games.  He seems a bit under-priced to me, and I could see him being extremely motivated tonight against a Bulls team that doesn’t play great defense.  James will cost you some serious money if you go with him tonight, but he also is one of the players most likely to explode and single-handedly carry your team to success. ∗∗

Khris Middleton-Milwaukee Bucks (7,400): Middleton’s stay in the SG category lasted all of one day before he returned to the SF slot tonight against the Pelicans.  He had 21 points last night in his 43 minutes adding seven assists, a block, a steal, and a rebound for 32.7 fantasy points. Middleton has at least 32 fantasy points in five of his last six games and seven of his last nine which makes him a very good play at this price.  He continues to be Milwaukee’s work horse and best offensive option and has now scored over 20 points in eight of his last nine games.  Look for him to keep things rolling against the Pelicans tonight.∗∗

Andrew Wiggins-Minnesota Timberwolves (6,900): Wiggins has at least 30 fantasy points in seven of his last eight games and has been over 34 fantasy points in each of his last two games and four of those eight.  He has scored at least 20 points in those seven games and usually adds a few boards and assists as well as the occasional steal.  His non-scoring numbers aren’t good enough to make him elite right now, but he is playing plenty of minutes for Minnesota and should be well-rested since the Wolves haven’t played since Wednesday when he had 23 points, seven rebounds, and three assists for 35.9 fantasy points against the Mavericks. Memphis used to be a “stay-away” matchup, but this year they rank in the middle of the pack against opposing SF, so Wiggins is definitely usable tonight.
