FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-January 23
High Value SF
Omri Casspi-Sacramento Kings (5,500): Casspi and the Kings host Indiana tonight as the Pacers travel northeast after losing to Golden State in Oakland last night. Casspi played an extra-heavy 38 minutes workload in the Kings’ last game against Atlanta due to the absence of Rudy Gay. He finished with a solid 13 points, five rebounds, and five steals for a total of 31 fantasy points. It was his best game since returning from a back injury, and he should be set up for another good one if Gay is sidelined again tonight. Without Gay-∗∗∗ With Gay-∗
Matt Barnes-Memphis Grizzlies (5,200): Barnes returned to the Memphis starting lineup on Thursday and played 36 minutes finishing with seven points, seven rebounds, five assists, and three steals. He has at last 20 fantasy points in each of his last six games with over 25 in each of his last three in which he played 30+ minutes. Tonight against the T-Wolves, Barnes makes a good play especially if Tony Allen is sidelined again tonight. No Allen-∗∗∗ With Allen-∗∗
T.J. Warren-Phoenix Suns (4,100): Warren was questionable coming in to Thursday’s game with a knee injury, but he ended up playing 33 minutes in place of an injured P.J. Tucker and scoring 18 points. He didn’t add any other peripheral stats except one rebound and one steal for just 20.2 fantasy points. Still, his offensive potential is intriguing for a Suns team with injuries everywhere. If Warren plays tonight and Tucker doesn’t, he’ll get plenty of minutes. No Tucker-∗∗∗ With Tucker-∗∗
Shabazz Muhammad-Minnesota Timberwolves (4,000): Muhammad played 35 minutes against Dallas on Wednesday and has played at least 25 minutes in seven of his last eight contests. When he has gotten time he has definitely made the most of it scoring in double-digits in each of those seven games and finishing with at least 16 fantasy points in each of those contests. He has over 20 fantasy points in six of his last ten and is a pretty solid bargain play tonight against Memphis barring some unforeseen reason that coach Sam Mitchell decides to drop him in the rotation. ∗∗∗
