Mike Trout joins The Weather Channel to report on the blizzard

Mike Trout is keeping busy during the offseason by helping The Weather Channel report on the blizzard that crippled the East Coast.
New Jersey native and baseball superstar Mike Trout decided to give a try at weather reporting when he joined The Weather Channel’s Jim Cantore Saturday morning.
Cantore was reporting live in the downtown Washington D.C. area as Trout called in from his hometown of Millville, New Jersey. Cantore described Trout as a weather geek, and after hearing his report, he’s not wrong.
Trout tweeted out a video of him driving in the blizzard.
It looks like he’s flying the Millennium Falcon and just entered hyperdrive.
He said he was up every hour checking the measurements and estimated that there was about a foot of snow on the ground with about six-foot drifts because of the wind.
Trout sounds like he knows what he’s talking about. Once his career his over, in about 15 years, he may have a career in meteorology.
Let’s just hope he stays safe when driving around. The Los Angeles Angels definitely need him healthy for Spring Training.
