High Value SG

Avery Bradley-Boston Celtics (5,600): Bradley has scored at least 19 points in three straight games and has over 35 fantasy points in two of those contests while finishing with at least 21 fantasy points in each of his last six.  Bradley usually plays a heavy load of minutes for coach Brad Stevens, and when he has his scoring turned up he can be a very nice fantasy option.  I expect him to fare well against a 76ers team that may be forced to scramble a bit at SG with JaKarr Sampson and Nik Stauskas dealing with injuries.

Wesley Matthews-Dallas Mavericks (5,100): Houston allows the third-most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing SG, so Matthews has some nice upside for today’s game.  He has scored in double-digits in each of his last four games with over 30 fantasy points in each of his last two.  On Friday, he had 13 points against OKC but supplemented it nicely with three rebounds and five steals to get to 30.75 fantasy points. Matthews can go off if he can get his shot dropping, but he has been struggling from long-range recently.

Evan Turner-Boston Celtics (4,500): Turner faces his former team as the Celtics visit Philadelphia, and he could get extra playing time if Jae Crowder is limited or sidelined due to illness.  Turner has been dealing with a knee injury of his own, but he has been able to play through it and has at least 20 fantasy points in each of his last two games thanks to matching five-rebound, five-assist stat lines.  Turner will be a very nice play if he gets the start, but either way there is a potential revenge factor in this one as well. With Crowder-∗∗ Without Crowder-

Terrence Ross-Toronto Raptors (3,500): The best cheap SG on the board is the Raptors’ Terrence Ross who continues to get good playing time while DeMarre Carroll is sidelined.  Ross has double-digit points in four of his last five games and turns in a few countable stats each game as well.  He’s the best cheap option at the postision today, but spend the money you save wisely elsewhere since Ross doesn’t have a ton of upside.
