FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-January 24
High Salary C
Brook Lopez-Brooklyn Nets (8,000): Lopez only played 19 minutes against Utah on Friday getting completely shut down by Rudy Gobert and finishing with just 12.6 fantasy points. He will look to bounce back from that disastrous performance today against the Thunder who he has had success against in the past. Earlier this year he had 26 points, eight rebounds, and two blocks against the Thunder. He had been producing pretty well before Friday’s burn, and he continues to be the best option the Nets have on offense by a wide margin. ∗∗∗
DeAndre Jordan-Los Angeles Clippers (7,900): Jordan doesn’t have the offensive game that BroLo does, but he usually is good for a double-double and some blocks. He had 20 points and eight rebounds as the Clippers rolled the Knicks on Friday which was his first game with less than ten rebounds since mid-December. Jordan should return to his double-double ways against the Raptors tonight who have struggled with opposing centers lately. ∗∗∗∗
Jahlil Okafor-Philadelphia 76ers (6,500): Okafor has scored at least 19 points in six of his last seven contests and has been adding pretty good non-scoring stats as well on his way to over 35 fantasy points in three of his last six games and over 27 in seven of his last nine. He averaged 22.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 3.0 blocks in his two previous meetings with Boston, and he should be lined up for another good game tonight after a few days off. ∗∗∗
Jonas Valanciunas-Toronto Raptors (6,400): Taking on DeAndre Jordan and the Clippers isn’t as bad a matchup as it initially seems. In fact, only the Lakers have allowed more fantasy points to opposing centers in their last five games. Valanciunas comes into tonight’s game with some momentum too since he has at least 33 fantasy points in four of his last five games. He’s back to full strength after a hand injury cost him some time earlier this season, and he’s a nice play tonight. ∗∗∗∗
