High Salary SF

LeBron James-Cleveland Cavaliers (9,900): In a ridiculously small one-game sample, LeBron likes his new coach. He played 40 minutes in the Cavs loss to Chicago on Saturday night finishing just one assist shy of a triple-double with 26 points, 13 boards, nine assists, and two steals for a total of 62.75 fantasy points. He had a few rough games around the team’s loss to Golden State, but he is back and ready to go full speed tonight against the T-Wolves who he had 13 points, 12 rebounds, eight assists, and 46 fantasy points against in their meeting earlier this month.  James and the Cavs will probably put the game away early, but if he plays anywhere close to his normal minutes, the fact that he’s under 10K will end up being a steal.

Kawhi Leonard-San Antonio Spurs (8,000): Leonard always seems to come to play for big games like this one. When the Spurs played the Cvavs, Leonard had 46.5 fantasy points while guarding LeBron and posting 20 points, then assists, five rebounds, and two blocks in 40 minutes.  He has played under 30 minutes in his three games since then which have been pretty easy Spurs wins. Going on the road to Golden State will be far from easy, and with Tim Duncan already ruled out, Leonard will be the key offensive piece for the Spurs in what should be a great game.

Gordon Hayward-Utah Jazz (7,500):  I liked Hayward better when he was cheaper, but he has at least 41 fantasy points in each of last three games and at least 35 fantasy points in seven of his last eight.  He has picked up his production across multiple categories, and he should be in a good place to keep things rolling tonight against the Pistons scene the Jazz will be back at home where he usually does even better than on the road. ∗∗

Danilo Gallinari-Denver Nuggets (7,000): The Nuggets have gotten great play from Gallinari all season, and he had one of his best games of the year on Saturday against the Pistons dropping 30 points to go with six boards, two assists, and two steals for a very nice 44.5 fantasy points. He scored the basket that turned out to be the game-winner, and consintues to be the focus of the offense.  Gallo has at least 30 fantasy points in eight of his last ten games with five games over 35 fantasy points during that span.  He’s a solid value tonight since he still costs less than you would think given his consistent production this season.∗∗

Jae Crowder-Boston Celtics (6,400): Crowder seems to be over his illness playing 32 minutes last night against the 76ers and totaling 30 fantasy points on 20 points, two rebounds, and two steals.  He’ll be in a great matchup tonight against the Wizards who allow more fantasy points than any other team in the NBA.  Crowder torched them just nine days ago for 22 points, eight rebounds, and six assists on his way to 42 fantasy points. As long as he doesn’t suffer a setback before tipoff-

Tobias Harris-Orlando Magic (6,400): Like Gallinari, Leonard, and even LeBron, Harris can fill the stat sheet when he’s on his game.  While he does it on a much smaller scale than those big names, he is a good option to consider against Memphis tonight.  Harris has been rolling lately with at least 30 fantasy points in three of his last four games.  He seems to meld well with whatever coach Scott Skiles adjusts his rotation to. The only caution flag with Harris is that he usually does perform better at home, and he’ll be on the road for tonight’s game.
