High Value PG

Emmanuel Mudiay-Denver Nuggets (5,200): Mudiay has become a regular on my FanDuel daily picks since returning from his ankle injury.  He missed 14 games in December and early January, but he has at least 23 fantasy points in six of his seven games back.  He has been extremely consistent in his last three games with 27.1, 28.6, and 28.8 fantasy points, and he’d be a solid value at that production level tonight as well. He’ll be hosting Jeff Teague and the Hawks in what should be a high-scoring contest in the Mile High City.

Dennis Schroder-Atlanta Hawks (5,200): Schroder will be taking on Mudiay and the Nuggets who have allowed more fantasy points to opposing PG in their last five games than any other team in the NBA. The German point guard is closing the gap on Jeff Teague and has been closing games out lately for Atlanta.  He has at least 30 fantasy points in two of his last five games, but as long as he’s still coming off the bench he’s a high-risk option.

Norris Cole-New Orleans Pelicans (4,300): Cole has been starting alongside Tyreke Evans in the backcourt for he Pelicans since Eric Gordon’s injury.  He has posted 31.1 and 20.1 fantasy points in those two games doing a little big of everything to help the Pelicans who are starting to gather some momentum after a horrible start.  Cole will be in good matchup against the Rockets, and I think he’ll definitely be worth this price as long as he holds the starting job. If starting-∗ if not starting-

Patrick Beverley-Houston Rockets (4,100): Beverley made a triumphant return to the Rockets’ starting lineup yesterday against the Mavericks playing 31 minutes and finishing with seven points, nine rebounds, and four assists for a solid total of 24.8 fantasy points. He has played well when healthy lately, and as long as he didn’t suffer a setback he’s a solid cheap play tonight against Cole, Holiday and the Pelicans. ∗∗
