High Salary SG

James Harden-Houston Rockets (10,000): Harden has started heating up with three monster games in a row scoring over 50 fantasy points in each matchup including a pair of triple-doubles.  Harden had 23 points, ten assists, and an impressive 15 rebounds against the Mavericks yesterday for 58 fantasy points. The arrival of Josh Smith seems to have invigorated Harden and got him rolling at a level we haven’t seen from yet this season.  Harden takes on the Pelicans who have allowed the sixth-most fantasy points to opposing SG this season.  Harden has averaged 24.5 points, 5.5 assists, and 8.0 rebounds in his previous two games against New Orleans, but I think he’ll exceed those averages tonight based on his recent form.

Dwyane Wade-Miami Heat (6,800): Wade and the Heat head to his hometown of Chicago for tonight’s game, but they’re far from full strength with numerous players questionable and others already ruled out tonight.  Wade himself is questionable, but he has said he’ll be ready to play.  With so few options, he’ll probably have a high usage rate, and if he can build on his game from Friday he could end up with a nice stat line.  On Friday, he played 37 minutes against the Raptors in Toronto and totaled 29.6 fantasy points in 22 points, four assists, three rebounds, and a steal.  His production has been inconsistent due to his injuries and he’ll have to go against the stifling defense of Jimmy Butler, but Miami will need all that he can give them tonight, so he could rise to the challenge with a big game.

Victor Oladipo-Orland0 Magic (6,200): Oladipo started alongside Elfrid Payton on Friday against the Hornets and ended up playing 42 minutes finishing with 29 points, four rebounds, and three assists for 35.3 fantasy points.  He has at least that many fantasy points in three of his last four games, and has been excellent since getting back into a bigger place in coach Scott Skiles rotation.  As long as he starts again engirt against the Grizzlies, he’s one of my favorite options at SG. ∗∗
