OT. Ohio State. Taylor Decker. 18. player. 46.

The Indianapolis Colts were terrible on the defensive line again in 2015 after being terrible on the defensive line in 2104. Last season during the draft they ignored the defensive line in the first round and selected wide receiver Phillip Dorsett, who racked up all of 18 catches on the season.

So they surely have to address the defensive line this time around, right? Maybe, but the fact is their offensive line was pretty much as bad as their defensive unit. Quarterback Andrew Luck is a great player, but he managed to play in only seven games last year and keeping him upright is more important than anything if the Colts want to be successful.

For that reason, Indy grabs the third offensive tackle this draft, Ohio State’s Taylor Decker. The 6-foot-7 lineman weighs 315 pounds and is a great pro prospect. His upper body strength is up there with any other offensive lineman coming into the league but falls slightly behind Tunsil and Stanley due to his struggles with getting leverage against defenders.

His height works against him here as he has a hard time getting under the pads of defensive ends, but that doesn’t mean he can’t be coached up to be a full-time left tackle that helps keep their most important player on the field and dissecting defenses.
