48.
Much like the Titans with the first pick, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers make a move here to protect the face of their franchise, quarterback Jameis Winston. After taking Donovan Smith in the second round last year to play tackle, the Bucs solidify their book end tackles for what should be most of, if not all of, Winston’s career with Ronnie Stanley from Notre Dame.

New head coach Dirk Koetter has an extensive background as an offensive coordinator and the team has stellar wide outs in Mike Evans and Vincent Jackson. In order to give Koetter options and Winston time to find the playmakers the team needs a strong line.

Playing for an offense in South Bend, Stanley comes from a group that has churned out a lot of talented players on both sides of the line and Stanley looks to be another stellar one. At 6-foot-6 and 315 pounds he surely has the size and strength to be a star at either left or right tackle and played both for the Irish.

Strength isn’t his only asset as Stanley is not only a smart player, but one of the most competitive on the team and will work as hard as any other lineman on the team.
. OT. Notre Dame. Ronnie Stanley. 9. player
