High Value SG

Devin Booker-Phoenix Suns (5,400): Booker has emerged as the Suns go-to option on offense due to the rash of injuries that has devastated the team.  Booker has risen to the challenge and is playing massive minutes with at least 36 minutes in each of the Suns’ last three contests.  He has two games of 30+ fantasy points during that span although he only totaled 23 in his last game against the Hawks.  Tonight against Philadelphia, he should be looked to as one of the primary scorers, so look for the 19-year old to keep being a great value play as long as Brandon Knight is out.

Wesley Matthews-Dallas Mavericks (5,300): LA has allowed the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing SG so far this season which sets Matthews up for a good game against LA tonight. He has scored at least 12 points in each of his last five games and has at least 30 fantasy points in two of his last three games.  The difference between his big fantasy games and his letdowns are usually his non-scoring stats which should be easy to come by tonight against the Lakers.

Archie Goodwin-Phoenix Suns (4,500): Goodwin is the starting PG for the beleaguered and injury-riddled Suns as they roll into Phily tonight. Goodwin has put together two nice games against the spurs and Hawks his last two times out with 20 and 24 points and 29.75 and 38.25 fantasy points. His return at this price has been impressive, and with Knight already ruled out for tonight he makes a great cheap play. The reason why I like Goodwin so much isn’t just his production–in those two games he has played 39 and 41 minutes, and if he keeps getting that much playing time there’s a low risk of him ending up with under 25 fantasy points which is a very good return at his cost.

Terrence Ross-Toronto Raptors (3,800): Ross has at least 12 points in five of his last six games and is playing plenty of SF while DeMarre Carroll recovers.  Ross had 18 points, four steals, and four rebounds in 33 minutes on Sunday against the Clippers for 35.5 fantasy points. He’ll face the Wizards tonight who give up the second-most fantasy points to opposing SG which is enough to make him a cheap gamble to look at if you can’t afford Booker or Goodwin or don’t trust Phoenix.
