High Salary SF

Kevin Durant-Oklahoma City Thunder (10,200): Most of the expensive SF have a risk factor, but Durant’s only downside is the possibility of a rout.  He played 41 minutes against the Nets in a game the Thunder lost.  It’s hard to put it on KD, though, sine he had 32 points, ten rebounds, and seven assists for a total of 55.5 fantasy points. He has at least 55 fantasy points in two of his last four games now, and he can definitely bring it when he’s at the top of his game.  Tonight, he’ll probably have to deal with a somewhat limited Carmelo Anthony who is dealing with a knee injury.  While I’m not sure we’re in store for a dominant, historic performance, I do think Durant will be a low-risk, very solid play tonight even though he costs over 10K.

Chandler Parsons-Dallas Mavericks (6,400): Parsons has been excellent in his last three games for the Mavs with over 25 points and over 35 fantasy points in each of those three contests.  He had 31 points against his former team on Sunday and added six boards for a solid 45.7 fantasy points.  The Lakers allow the fifth-most fantasy points to opposing SF, and he should be set up to keep right on rolling at a very affordable price still tonight.

Tobias Harris-Orlando Magic (6,000): Harris didn’t fill in the stat sheet like he usually does but still managed 16 points and 23.3 fantasy points last night against Memphis.  He’s clearly the Magic starting SF and is locked in to a ton of minutes. Tonight, he’ll take on the Bucks who allow the sixth-most fantasy points to opposing SF, so there is definitely some upside to like for Harris tonight including the possibility of hauling in a double-double.
