High Value PF

Jabari Parker-Milwaukee Bucks (5,300): Parker has been productive lately with at least 24 fantasy points in five of his last eight games.  He had his best game of that stretch on Friday against Houston when he had 36 fantasy points in a massive 40 minutes finishing with 11 points, ten rebounds, four assists, two blocks, and two steals.  He has immense upside as he continues to complete his recovery and returns to 100%, but he is still a risk on a nightly basis sine sometimes his non-scoring stats evaporate and he only scores 10-15 points in most games.

Myles Turner-Indiana Pacers (4,900): Turner had a breakout road trip for the Pacers putting up four good games as the team traveled to Denver, Phoenix, Oakland, and Sacramento.  In each of those four games, Turner had at least 25 fantasy points including a pair of games with over 40 fantasy points against the Nuggets (25 points, seven rebounds, two assists, and two blocks) and the Warriors (31 points, eight rebounds, two blocks, and a steal).  Ian Mahinmi missed three of those four games with heel and ankle injuries which definitely helped Turner see a bump in minutes. With Mahinmi questionable to return tonight, Turner could lose some minutes, but given the way he was playing coach Frank Vogel has to find a way to keep him in the rotation tonight against the Clippers who are thin up front without Blake Griffin.  With Mahinmi-∗ Without Mahinmi-

Markieff Morris-Phoenix Suns (4,600): Morris could be lined up for plenty of playing time tonight if he can get healthy and Jone Leuer remains out (listed as doubtful).  Morris had three straight games over 25 fantasy points before the game he had to leave early with his shoulder issue, and he’ll be in a great matchup against the Sixers tonight who allow the second-most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing PF. His injury and volatility make him a little risky but there is huge upside if he gets the start and offers the Suns a nice source of scoring which they’ve been searching for with all their injuries.

Willie Cauley-Stein-Sacramento Kings (4,300): FanDuel slides Cauley-Stein to the PF spot in their salary system today after he had been listed as a center all season.  He has been starting alongside DeMarcus Cousins and has played at least 29 minutes in each of his last four games.  Last night, he played 38 minutes in the double-overtime loss to Charlotte finishing with just nine points and nine rebounds but still getting to 20 fantasy points for the fourth straight game.  He made a clutch dunk for the Kings last score of the night before a potential game-winner from Darren Collison rimmed out.  Cauley-Stein is definitely back to being a big part of the Kings rotation and will be a great value tonight since he’s a double-double threat every time he takes the floor including tonight’s matchup against the Blazers who have struggled with their frontcourt defense this season.

Aaron Gordon-Orlando Magic (4,300): Gordon is starting for the Magic, but he only played 24 minutes for the second straight game last night since the Magic matched the Grizzlies small-ball lineup with Gordon on the bench.  He did still manage ten points and nine rebounds to get to 20.8 fantasy points, but he needs to get closer to 30 minutes a game before he’s  must-own option.  He has been able to get at least 20 fantasy points in five of his last seven games which is pretty close to value here in the low-4K range.  ∗∗

Larry Nance Jr.-Los Angeles Lakers (4,100): One more cheap option to watch for tonight is Nance who is expected to return after missing four games with a knee injury.  In his four games before the game where the injury occurred, Nance was playing well with at least 20 fantasy points in four straight and starting to adjust more to the aggressive style that coach Byron Scott has been trying to get him to play.  If he can pick up where he left off, he’ll be a good value tonight as well.
