DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-January 27
High Salary PF
Draymond Green-Golden State Warriors (8,900): Green and the Warriors couldn’t get the win in Dallas without Steph Curry, but they’ll be ready for the Mavericks tonight after demolishing the Spurs on Monday. Green has taken a bit of a backseat to Curry since Green missed the Golden State loss in Denver. Since then, Draymond has only reached 45 fantasy points in two of his six contests although he has had at least 34 fantasy points in each of his last four. Green could be set up for a monster game in an emotional “revenge” game tonight, but his secondary or tertiary scoring role makes him a bit more high-risk than he was when he was the team’s primary option earlier this season while Curry was out. ∗∗∗
Paul Millsap-Atlanta Hawks (8,300): Millsap has been producing great numbers lately even though he doesn’t get the hype of other stars at times. He has at least 42 fantasy points in five of his last six games and has been over 52 fantasy points in two of those contests. He almost always produces good stat lines across the board filling in almost every fantasy-relevant category. Tonight, against the Clippers who don’t have Blake Griffin, Millsap should be ready to roll in the Hawks first game back in Atlanta haver a four-game road trip against the Western Conference. Millsap played only 28 minutes in his return from a personal absence on Monday, but he still had 42.75 fantasy points on 22 points, nine rebounds, three assists, two steals, and a block. I don’t know who the Clipper will try to use against Millsap, but I don’t think they’ll find much success whoever they try to defend him with. ∗∗∗∗
LaMarcus Aldridge-San Antonio Spurs (7,100): The Spurs will be ready to crush the Rockets tonight, and they’ll look to Aldridge to carry some of the offensive load especially down low with Tim Duncan already ruled out. Aldridge should be in a good matchup since the Rockets allows he most fantasy points to opposing PF, but he is high risk after scoring in single-digits in three of his last four games. He did post good numbers against Houston in their earlier meetings this year averaging 21 points, nine rebounds, a steal, and an assist. ∗
