High Salary G

Braden Holtby – Washington Capitals ($8,500): Holtby wasn’t very sharp his last time out but was afforded the luxury of six goals by the talented team around him. That’s what makes Holtby the best goalie available. Even on off nights he’s a good bet to pick up a victory. Despite allowing three goals to the Blue Jackets he still has a 2.00 GAA and a save percentage of .930. Tonight he gets a favorable matchup with the low-scoring Philadelphia Flyers. Holtby is the best there is right now and is always a great choice.

Jonathan Quick – L.A. Kings ($8,400): Quick is a proven elite NHL goaltender and typically makes for a great start in fantasy hockey. He’s in a bit of a cold stretch right now with two straight losses but chances are he’ll bounce back soon. That chance could come tonight against Colorado. Before suffering the two losses he had won four out of five starts. Los Angeles is a good team and Quick is a great netminder. It would be rare to see him lose three starts in a row, so go ahead and plug him into your lineup tonight.

High Value G

Andrei Vasilevskiy – Tampa Bay Lightning ($7,600): Vasilevskiy is the confirmed starter in net tonight for the Lightning. He hasn’t had a lot of action this year behind starter Ben Bishop, but has posted a winning record of 7-4. His GAA of 2.80 isn’t the best number, he’s played very well recently, winning his last four starts. Vasilevskiy could be an excellent option tonight against a Toronto team that has a tough time scoring goals. In fact, Toronto is the worst team in the league when it comes to fantasy points given up to opposing goalies.
