High Value SG

Rodney Hood-Utah Jazz (5,600): Hood leads a solid group of value options at SG as he and the Jazz host the banged-up Hornets who may be without Nicolas Batum and Jeremy Lamb tonight leaving opportunity for Hood to attack their backups.  Hood has more than 30 fantasy points in two of his last three games and scored 23 points in 34 minutes against the Pistons on Monday in his latest game.  He does have the potential to go off as he showed last week against the Knicks with 43.7 fantasy points, and he’s a solid play tonight if you’re spending in this range.

Jeremy Lin-Charlotte Hornets (5,400): One of the players who has had to step up for Charlotte due to their injuries is Jeremy Lin. Lin has been excellent in the Hornets’ last two games posting 36.5 and 41.9 fantasy points and scoring over 20 points in each of those contests,  He has over 24 fantasy points in five of his last ten games, and if Batum and Lamb are forced to sit tonight look for Lin to be very involved once again. No Batum-∗ With Batum-

Devin Booker-Phoenix Suns (4,500): Booker continued his breakout month as he has  emerged as the Suns go-to option on offense due to the injuries to Brandon Knight, Eric Bledsoe, and Ronnie Price.  Booker has played at least 36 minutes in each of the last four games for the Suns with at least 27 fantasy points in three of those four games.  He can be a potent scorer, and the Suns will give him every chance to be the focal point of their attack tonight in Cleveland.

Troy Daniels-Charlotte Hornets (4,100): Daniels had a monster game scoring a career-high 28 points against the Kings in Monday’s double-overtime win in Sacramento including hitting the game-winning triple.  Daniels has been pressed into service due to the injuries in Charlotte and has scored at least 11 points in three of his last four games although he had not quite approached the 36.4 fantasy points he finished with on Monday. He will look to keep rolling tonight in Utah and is a solid play if Batum and Lamb are both out. If both Batum/Lamb are out-∗ If either plays-

Dion Waiters-Oklahoma City Thunder (3,900): Waiters will be a low-upside cheap play for the next few weeks as he starts in place of Andre Roberson who is out at least three weeks with a sprained knee.  Waiters played 43 minutes in his start last night finishing with 14 points and three rebounds for 17.1 fantasy points. He doesn’t have a ton of upside, but its worth noting his bump in playing time and it will be interesting to see if he can carve out a role for himself next to Durant and Westbrook.
