High Value SF

Robert Covington-Philadelphia 76ers (5,100): Covington continues to get plenty of playing time for the 76ers since they are dealing with a number of injuries to other options on the wing.  He played 32 minutes last night against Phoenix finishing with 24.5 fantasy points on 19 points, five rebounds, and an assist.  He hasn’t been able to produce master fantasy numbers like he did when he first jointed the team after missing the first few weeks due to injury, but he has been steady with over 20 fantasy points in each of his last seven games.  Covington and the Sixers play for the third time in four nights as they take on Detroit tonight who has been one of the better teams in the NBA at limiting opposing SG. ∗∗

P.J. Tucker-Phoenix Suns (4,500): Tucker played 33 minutes against Covington and the Sixerss last nigh and finished with seven points, five rebounds, eight assists, and two steals for a solid 28 fantasy points. He has at least 20 fantasy points in eight of his last nine games having to depart the other contest after just six minutes due to injury.  Since he’s getting so much playing time, Tucker is a great bargain at this price even though he’ll have to match up with LeBron James tonight.

Shabazz Muhammad-Minnesota Timberwolves (4,200): Muhammad continues to be one of my regular value picks at SF in my FanDuel daily picks as he keeps playing solid minutes for the Wolves.  He has played at least 25 minutes in nine of his last ten games and has at least 20 fantasy points in each of his last four and seven of his last ten.  He had 26.3 fantasy points against the Thunder in one of their matchups earlier this month but struggled in the other game with just 16.8 fantasy points. The best news for him is that he played 34 minutes in each of those contests which sets him up well to produce solid returns tonight.
