High Salary PF

Paul Millsap-Atlanta Hawks (8,900): Millsap was a little bit of a letdown last night against the Clippers finishing with 38.4 fantasy points on 14 points, ten rebounds, four assists, two blocks, and a steal.  He almost always contributes all the way across the fantasy-relevant categories, and he has at least 38 fantasy points in each of his last five games. The reason Millsap is high risk is that the Pacers allow the fewest fantasy points in the NBA to opposing PF.

Kenneth Faried-Denver Nuggets (6,100): It’s been a roller-coaster of a year for “the Manimal,” but he looked great last night against the Celtics scoring 15 points to go with 15 rebounds and four assists for a total of 43 fantasy points. He has three straight double-doubles when playing his usual minutes and has at least 33 fantasy points in each of those games.  Tonight the Nuggets complete their back-to-back and if he gets the start and plays his typical 24+ minutes he should be able to find success against the Wizards who have been using a lot of small ball and don’t have a great defensive PF.

Zach Randolph-Memphis Grizzlies (6,000): Randolph looked like old-school Z-Bo against the Magic on Monday with 18 points and 13 rebounds on his way to 33.1 fantasy points. He is in a good matchup tonight against the Bucks who allow the fourth-most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing PF.  He’s no lock, though, given his struggles prior to his good game against the Magic, and he is still a risky play tonight.
