Los Angeles Lakers center Roy Hibbert put his hand on Kobe Bryant’s chest and got his hand slapped away.

It’s another frustrating night for the Los Angeles Lakers against the Chicago Bulls. The visiting Bulls jumped all over the Lakers in the first quarter and Kobe Bryant wasn’t happy with the way that his team was playing.

With the Bulls leading by 17 as the Lakers walked back to their bench, center Roy Hibbert reached out to Kobe Bryant and put his hand on his chest to show him some love. With the Lakers struggling and losing by a wide margin, Bryant wasn’t having any of Hibbert’s gesture and he proceeded to slap his hand away.

Bryant hates losing almost more than any other athlete and he certainly wasn’t about to slap five with Hibbert and be happy with the Lakers’ performance. That’s the difference in mentalities between a player like Hibbert and a player like Bryant.

Bryant has the fire burning in him and Hibbert’s mellow and calm during a bad performance. That’s what got his hand slapped away and it was probably not the best idea by Hibbert.

Kobe’s been around the block and doesn’t need to be told it will be okay.
