High Salary C

Andre Drummond-Detroit Pistons (8,500): Drummond bounced back from a pair of ugly games on the road when the Pistons returned home on Wednesday against the 76ers.  Drummond finished that game with 25 points and 18 rebounds for a total of 50.6 fantasy points and posted an identical 25 points and 18 rebounds in his first matchup of the season with tonight’s opponent the Cavs. Drummond has posted 50 or more fantasy points in two of his last four, but he’s a very volatile play since he has finished under 20 fantasy points in his other two games in his last four.

Dwight Howard-Houston Rockets (8,100): Howard missed three games with an ankle injury and returned to a horrible matchup against the Spurs in San Antonio and was limited to just 23 minutes in the Rockets blowout loss.  He was on a double-double binge before his injury highlighted by a 36-point, 26-rebound game against the Clippers when he posted 73.2 fantasy points. Tonight against the Thunder, he’ll look to return to his double-double production, and as long as the game is a competitive one, I expect Howard to end up with a solid night against the Thunder who are usually pretty good against opposing centers but have been lit up lately. ∗∗

Nikola Vucevic-Orlando Magic (7,800): Vooch has over 36 fantasy points in three straight tames and in six of his last eight games overall.  In those eight games, he has seven double-doubles and has been a steady contributor in big minutes for Orlando.  With cache Scott Skiles shortening his rotation, his started are getting enough playing time to produce big games, and Vucevic will look to just that tonight against Boston.
